LED (Light Emitting Diode) light bulbs are one of today's most promising technologies. Known for their energy efficiency and cost saving features, LED bulbs also boast a long life (rated up to 60,000 hours of use) and incredible durability.

We love our LED lighting because it is one of the easiest ways to reduce our energy usage and lessen the amount of CO2 that is released into the atmosphere. The process that an incandescent bulb goes through to create energy for lighting produces a lot of heat to warm the filament, and the majority of that energy is not used to generate light. An LED light bulb requires very little energy to initiate light, and the bulk of the energy created is used to release light, cutting down on electricity use in a remarkable way. LED light bulbs also contain no harmful mercury, and provide instant light, two factors which make LED bulbs more desirable and environmentally friendlier than CFL (Compact Fluorescent Light) bulbs. Making the switch to LED light bulbs means that you can be green while saving green!

Our LED light bulbs are available with a bright daylight output (also known as "cool"), or with a warm light output, more comparable to traditional incandescent and CFL lights.
